However, having green spaces is good for your mental well-being, no matter what age. People are also increasingly taking responsibility for their carbon footprint when it comes to food, and there is a growing responsibility to know where what you eat comes from and how it's grown.
The GrowPod, a modular, indoor smart planter system tackles the challenges of modern city dwellers head on by allowing you to grow small food plants like basil, lemongrass and sprouts or to beauty up your living space with flowers and decorative plants. You can even do both at once!

Easy, Touch - And - Go Interaction
GrowPod is controlled through an easy-access, intuitive touch screen interface that allows you to check on the status of plants, battery levels, moisture levels and allows you to sync your GrowPod with any device. Syncing your GrowPod to a device will let you check the status of your plants wherever you go.
Modular. Interchangeable. Convenient.
All pods, batteries and clips are interchangeable with each other, so there's no hassle of trying to find exactly which goes with which.
The battery is charged through contact when attached to the pod, and the pod is hung on a clip.
Status At A Glance
Don't have time to take an in depth look? The battery can be set to change colour depending on the dryness of the soil, letting you know when to water your plants at a glance.
